Career Counseling
Career Counseling is a chance to talk with an expert to discuss your career goals. The counselors talk with you about your past job experiences and what you want for the future, the skills you currently have, and those you might want to add or expand.
They will also help with your resume, conduct mock interviews, and provide overall support and guidance during your job search.
The first step to receive career counseling is to attend one of our Orientations. This will introduce you to the career counselor and give you some more information about the career center and its resources.
Orientations are held online via Zoom and in-person and dates can be found on our Workshop Calendar.
If you need help using Zoom, watch our Zoom tutorial.
***Please note: Our facility differs from a recruitment agency in that we don’t offer job placement. Our approach is to “Help You Help Yourself”, so we don’t find jobs or apply to jobs on your behalf.***
