Recruiting and hiring in the current environment of record low unemployment is creating new challenges for organizations. The national unemployment rate stands at 3.9% (as of July 2018). Local unemployment rates are even lower: the Tri-Valley area rate is 2.7% while the Alameda County rate is 3.2%.
